Cancer is a disease characterized by abnormally large cell proliferation within normal tissue of the body, in such a way that the survival of the latter is threatened. These cells all derive from the same clone, the cancer-initiating cell, which has acquired certain characteristics allowing it to divide indefinitely. During the course of the disease, some cells can migrate from their place of production and form metastases. For both of these reasons, cancer screening should be as early as possible.
Cancer is a general term for a disease for which certain cells of an organism adopt an abnormal behavior characterized by independence from the signals that normally stimulate cell proliferation, insensitivity to antiproliferative signals and mechanisms, a proliferative capacity that is no longer limited (infinite growth), the disappearance of the phenomenon of apoptosis, an abnormal ability to induce angiogenesis, and the acquisition of invasive power and production of metastases.
The resulting new cells, called “cancerous” or “tumor” can form a malignant tumor (a neoplasm) or spread throughout the body. Risk factors are internal (genome, mutation5, etc.), induction by an infectious agent, etc. and/or external (diet, exposure to carcinogenic substances or conditions such as irradiation, etc.). Hormonal, epigenetic and psychosomatic factors are possible. 90-95% of cancer cases are not due to genetic mutations. Over the past decade, several types of cancer seem to be on the rise, while in some cases this progression is easily linked to identified risk factors (tobacco, alcohol, industrial pollutants recognized as carcinogenic, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, sun exposure), in some cases it is difficult to attribute the observed increase to specific factors.
According to the WHO, cancer is a major cause of death worldwide, accounting for 7.6 million deaths in 2008, or about 13% of global mortality. In addition, cancers of the lung, stomach, liver, colon and breast cause the highest number of deaths each year. There is extensive knowledge about the causes of cancer, interventions for its prevention and management of the disease. Cancer can be reduced and contained by applying evidence-based strategies for prevention, early detection and patient management. With early detection and adequate treatment, the chances of recovery are high for many cancers.
One of the treatments on which the scientific community bases many hopes has turned out to be the result of the discovery of the therapeutic virtues of a particular plant, the taxus brevifolia, better known as the Pacific yew. Yews are small shrubs that grow relatively slowly. Their lifespan can be very long, several centuries, or even millennia. These shrubs measure from 5 to 8 m and can reach up to 20 m in height. The erect trunk is covered with red bark, the leaves in the form of flat needles are dark green with which the red arils slice.
Recently, the Pacific yew, which grows only in the northwestern United States, has received media attention due to its amazing anti-cancer properties. In fact, Taxol, a miracle anti-cancer drug, used to treat many varieties of cancer, was derived from its bark. The Pacific yew or Vital Yew, has been used for centuries as a natural source of healing, to treat many different ailments. It has a long history of medicinal use.
North Americans considered this shrub a “chief of the forest”, because of its incredible miraculous healing powers. Preparations from Pacific yew have been used to treat skin tumors and respiratory problems such as bronchitis. Parts of the bark were then used to relieve colds, fevers, headaches and stomach aches, lung problems, kidney problems, as well as arthritis and rheumatism. Today, thousands of health professionals and scientists have discovered that The Pacific yew is an indispensable supplement because of its ability to strengthen the immune system. Herbal products – NG4L Vital Yew336
COMPOSITION: The anticancer compound called taxol is present in almost all parts of the yew, but it is in the inner bark (i.e. cambium) that it is most concentrated. It also contains: lignans (molecules classified in phenolic derivatives, related in terms of their biological and nutritional effects to flavonoids), flavonoids (sciadopytisine, kayaflavone), proanthocyanidols (flavonoid polymers), polysaccharides (carbohydrate polymers), cyclitols, resins, fatty acids and sterols.
DESCRIPTION: NG4L Vital Yew is a new and unique natural formula made from the needles of the Pacific yew. These chlorophyll-laden needles have additional nutritional benefits in the bark. How does NG4L Vital Yew work?
NG4L Vital Yew contains taxanes; these active compounds fight cancer by preventing cancer cells from dividing. Cancer cells reproduce when small sprawling tubes called microtubules develop from the mother cell. New cancer cells grow at the ends of the tubes and as they grow, the tubules disintegrate so that the new cells are released from the mother cell and can reproduce and function freely. NG4L Vital Yew taxanes, unlike any other drug or anti-cancer substance, actually prevent tubule disintegration, so new cancer cells cannot separate from the parent cells. This paralyzes cell division and the cancer cells eventually die.
Not only does NG4L Vital Yew contain anticancer taxanes, it also provides a wide range of other plant substances such as glycosides, flavonoids, lignans, benzenoids and enzymes that have been shown to have powerful natural anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating properties that act to improve resistance to disease. Its anti-inflammatory substances help relieve inflammation-related symptoms such as Herbal Products – NG4L Vital Yew337 nasal and sinus congestion, fever as well as muscle and joint pain. In addition, they fight against already acquired infections and are excellent for the prevention of future diseases. One of the most extraordinary benefits of NG4L Vital Yew is its ability to keep your body’s natural defenses at their best.
APPLICATIONS:
CANCER: Yew contains taxol, which is an anti-cancer agent. Taxol is active against advanced ovarian cancer that has been shown to be refractory to treatment (for which treatment options are limited) as well as breast cancer, and researchers are currently conducting clinical trials to determine if it is active against other forms of cancer.
Taxol has a therapeutic action because it has an inhibitory effect on the mitotic spindle, which prevents the anarchic growth of cells (that is, the mechanism of formation of the mitotic spindle that aligns chromosomes during cell division (mitosis) is disturbed, thus preventing the reproduction of cancer cells). Cancer is the second leading cause of death in industrialized countries, and there is an urgent need for new treatments. It is estimated that in the future more than a quarter of a million people could be treated with taxol each year, and that the drug could have a commercial value of about a billion dollars per year. At present, treatment with taxol is very expensive.
Immune system: the yew of the Pacific fights against the diseases you already have and prevents the occurrence of future pathologies. One of its most extraordinary advantages is its ability to keep the body’s natural defenses at their highest level. This powerful immunity builder has been used in clinical trials, not only for treatment, but also to prevent cancer and weaknesses in the immune system. Thus, the phytochemicals of this plant (flavonoids, benzenoids, glycosides) are powerful immune builders. Many herbal users agree that it is the most powerful herb for the immune edifice that exists on the market today.
Bacterial, viral and mycotic infections: in addition to the taxanes with anti-carcinogenic effect already mentioned, a whole series of other similar substances have been discovered that are naturally found only in yew: lignans, which possess not only anti-carcinogenic effects but also anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimycotic and antiviral effects, give as much hope to thousands of patients as flavonoids with anti-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory effect antiallergic. Especially in respiratory tract infections, NG4L Vital Yew immune supports and helps the body quickly fight cold and flu symptoms such as nasal congestion, sinus obstruction, sneezing, itchy eyes and watery eyes, as well as cranial pain. Anti-inflammatory: In addition to its anti-cancer properties, taxus brevifolia has the ability to reduce inflammation and thus relieve joint pain in cases of arthritis and bursitis. In addition, the treatment of other inflammatory conditions such as sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and bronchitis, to name but a few, can benefit from these anti-inflammatory drugs.
Other applications: The fleshy cup that surrounds the seeds contains mucilages. It is used to prepare a syrup that facilitates sputum. It also contains proteins and has an emollient action (softening and anti-inflammatory), especially on the respiratory system.
DOSAGE: The usual dosage in cancer patients is 6 to 8 capsules of 300mg per day. It is strongly recommended that the patient continue taking the preparation of yew more than a year after the disappearance of the tumor. As a preventive measure as well as in case of benign diseases, 1 capsule per day is recommended
